TIMERGARA: The Adviser to the Prime Minister Amir Muqam said on Sunday that the Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) chief Sirajul Haq had himself buried the ideology of Maulana Maudoodi just for the sake of three ministries and his senatorship. He alleged that the JI chief had shut his eyes to the corruption of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf-led government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
He added that on one hand the JI made an alliance with PML-N in Azad Kashmir while on the other hand it was opposing the government in the name of so called corruption. He said Pakistan was moving fast on the track to development under the premier’s leadership.
The PML-N leader expressed these views while addressing a public gathering at Talash Shamshi Khan village in Lower Dir. JI Tehsil councillor Syed Inayaturrahman, Azad councillors group, hundreds of political workers from JI, PTI, PPP, JUI-F and ANP announced joining the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz on the occasion.
PML-N district Lower Dir president Malik Bahram Shehzada, provincial joint secretary Malik Farooq Iqbal and general secretary Javed Akhtar advocate also spoke on the occasion.
Amir Muqam said the PTI chief Imran Khan was using the Panama Papers case just to gain popularity but Imran’s dream of becoming prime minister would remain a dream only as the people of Pakistan had come to know about the PTI duplicity.
Amir Muqam said Imran Khan had hoodwinked the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the name of change but he claimed that PML-N had brought real change to the country as he said the confidence of foreign investors had been restored due to the best economic policies of the federal government. He added that the centre had made matchless efforts to steer the country out of the menace of terrorism.
Amir Muqam said Parvez Khattak was trying to take the credit of the Chakdarra Chitral road but he said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had approved the road.
The PM’s adviser announced on the occasion to establish a power grid station at a point between Talash and Timergara besides approving Khadagzai feeder to address the power related issues in the area. He also announced to construct Chakdarra bypass and to set up a NADRA office at Talash.
Amir Muqam directed the officials of SNGPL to ensure the provision of natural gas to the residents without any discrimination. He stated that people of Lower Dir would vote the PML-N to power and reject Imran Khan in the upcoming general elections.
