ISLAMABAD: Pakistan High Commissioner to India Abdul Basit has expressed profound grief and sorrow over the loss of precious lives in fresh ceasefire violation by the Indian forces at the Line of Control (LoC).
“By violating ceasefire agreement, India wants to detract world’s attention from grave human rights violations in Held Kashmir,” said the high commissioner, adding that the India forces were trying to suppress freedom struggle of Kashmiris.
“Pakistan does not want a war with any country; however, we are fully capable of defending our soil against any aggression,” he added.
It is vital to mention here that seven soldiers embraced martyrdom in unprovoked firing by Indian forces at the Line of Control in Bhimber sector on Monday.
