ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif embarked upon a three-day visit to Turkey today to attend the 5th Session of the Pakistan-Turkey High Level Strategic Cooperation Council.
The prime minister will be accompanied by a high-level delegation, consisting of ministers and senior officials.
Together with Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim, the Nawaz Sharif would co-chair a meeting to discuss strategic cooperation in Ankara on Thursday.The two sides will discuss cooperation in diverse sectors.
A number of agreements and MoUs are also expected to be signed on the occasion.
Nawaz Sharif would also hold wide-ranging consultations with the Turkish leadership on bilateral, regional and international issues.
During the visit, Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif would be meeting with President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
