QUETTA: 15 terrorists were gunned down and numerous were injured in yet another targeted strike conducted across the Afghan border areas by the Pakistan army, according to sources in Afghanistan.
Sources understand that a high value target known for his mentoring regarding suicide bombing and terrorism, Rehman Baba was killed and many were injured as the Pakistan army pounded areas across the afghan border which included hideouts and weapon depots of Jamatul Ahrar.
This move comes after, Pakistan lost at least a 100 innocent lives as terrorists ran rampant and conducted several attacks all across the country.
The strikes by the Pakistan army, reportedly started after Pakistan summoned Afghan embassy officials at General Head Quarters and asked the Afghan authorities to hand over 76 terrorists mentioned in a list they handed over to the embassy officials.
Stating that afghan authorities should not make their country a safe haven for terrorists and they should hand over the militants as soon as possible
Multiple reports state that Jamatul Ahrar’s commander Wali and deputy commander Adil Bacha were killed after the army conducted 4 strikes across the afghan border.
However no government or army official has claimed or officially stated any development in the army camp or across the border.
It is pertinent to mention that Jamatul Ahrar claimed responsibility for last week’s traumatising attacks in Pakistan.
