SAHIWAL: At least four terrorists have been arrested, while an inspector of CTD has been martyred during an exchange of fire in Sahiwal. On a tip-off, the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) personnel raided a hideout in Garh area of Sahiwal where the terrorists started firing at the police party. Fida Hussain, inspector of CTD was martyred in the exchange of fire and two police personnel injured.
The CTD arrested four terrorists. Two accomplices of terrorists fled the scene. The body and injured were rushed to DHQ hospital. The CTD also claimed to have recovered explosives and weapons from terrorists’ possession.
